Septic Tank Installation

on Friday, 02 November 2018.

We're frequently asked how tanks get installed. It's actually a great question, considering most 1000 gallon tanks are approximately 6 feet deep and weigh around 2,500 pounds. The answer? The tanks are loaded on to trucks, which are driven to the site, and then the tank is lifted off the truck and into the designated spot. D&D Hauling installed this tank in the Indianola area. This was a pump to gravity system for a customer in Port Orchard, installed by Gettin' It Done. Lancer and his team did a great job! Below you can see the transport lines going from the tank to the distrubution box, which helps "decide" how the effluent is distributed into the drain field. Gravity System in Bremerton

on Friday, 30 December 2016.

This was a gravity system designed by Rod and installed in the Bremerton area. Rod's goal at the feasibility is always to design a gravity system. The soils don't always qualify for gravity, however, this property did and this customer was able to achieve a 4 bedroom gravity system. Gravity System in Bremerton

on Wednesday, 28 September 2016.

The Kitsap Public Health District, or KPHD, allows home owners to install their own system, if the system is gravity. This was a home owner install in Bremerton. Once a system has been installed, either by a home owner or a licensed installer, it must be called in for inspection. Here, Rod takes a look at the installation, to verify things have been done correctly. Great job to this home owner!

"No job is too difficult for the South Shore Construction team!" ~ Rich, South Shore Construction
The owners of this property were working with South Shore Construction, and wanting to place a manufactured home on the property, when Acme was brought in to do the septic design. It's always such a pleasure working with Rich and his team at South Shore! Toni, the office manager says "This septic installation was a project similar to many of our previous ones, in that it was for a manufactured home, but varied in that the site was challenging, due to the environmental factors we had to work around". Great job South Shore!

Long Lake - Port Orchard

on Friday, 10 January 2014.

The owners of this property on Long Lake in Port Orchard had four rental units that had a failing septic system ~ plus they lived out of the area. It was important to work quickly and in tandem with the health department while dealing with time constraints because of renters and proximity issues due to the waterfront and nearby homes.  We designed two bottomless sand filters that D & D Hauling installed. You can see how nice and clean the installation was.  Great job to Dennis and his crew.
